is my cpu temps normal or high?
are my cpu temps too high?
when idling on desktop my cpu temp is from 45 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees celcius. when ingame for tf2 with low settings its from 56c-62c.
also i havent re applied any thermal paste or ever got an aftermarket cpu fan in the past 3-4 years and i used to run tf2 great but now i have mad fps issues
cpu: intel pentium dual core E5300 (2.6ghz)
gpu: Nvidia 9800gt superclocked
ram: 6 GB
PSU: 750W
desktop case: prestigio sigma la vie

It's acceptable. As long as it doesnt go over 80C for extended periods of time you have nothing to worry about.
Those are O.K temps. It may be a bit "warm," but you're more then safe. I believe the Pentium Dual Core max temps are around 71c.
That is a little on the side.
