Princess Pajama Party ideas for a teenager?

Soooo yeah. It's gonna be my sweet 16 (I am a girl, in case you're wondering) and I'm thinking of maybe having a princess pajama party. I really never grew up xP

I already had some ideas, like it would be a sleepover of course, we could all wear tiaras of our favorite Disney princess, and we could slide down the staircase on mattresses (if you've ever seen Princess Diaries 2, you'll understand :D). But that's about all I've come up with for what to do.

It'll be based around Disney princesses, and maybe the 'Once Upon a Time' (the tv show) fairytales. I haven't completely decided.

  • Your party ideas sound awesome! I love your Princess Diaries idea! Have dainty tea sandwiches for your guests to snack on throughout the night. Your guests can come in costume and change into their pajamas part-way through the party. The cake should be pink and decorated with Disney princesses. Most grocery stores make Disney princess cakes, so choose your favorite cake design. Watch your favorite princess movies during the party. For invitations, send them out by mail. They should be elegant and scroll-like, and refer to each guest as "Princess". Happy Sweet Sixteen!

  • hi dear :) what is it ever kind of 'never really growing up' in your idea???

i suggest you to get dressed up as your favourite Disney princess and have all your friends dressed as Disney princesses as well, play some video-games about them and watch a Marathon of their films with a menu Disney-princess like.

    For istance:

    - little shrimps with mustard(getting the inspiration from Ariel)

    - Creamy pumpkin soup(Cinderella)

    - a homemade goosberry cake(Snow White)

and when your guests leave, give them a present about the Disney princesses(a Disney princess pen or a Disney princess mug,for istance...you can buy them at Disney store)

    goodby and enjoy..happy birthday!

  • Sliding down staircases? Ha! That's no fun. No, I think you all should try your hand at replacing the clutch on a '73 Chevelle. That'd be hilarious, over the top fun!
