...and where Robert Plant had a high voice, I was wondering if any of the songs used a capo. I already know capos make it easier to reach different keys for a singer's voice, thus my point to ask the question...

    he tended to use alternate tunings rather than capos.

    and i've never seen him use one live

    but i would be very surprised if a capo was never used in led zep's music.

    No clue. A capo shortens the strings on the guitar bringing the pitch up.

    i can't think of a tune but i bet one has been on his guitar at some point

    dude a capo is a tool to create a new open position

    usaully used to match singers comfort keys

    I'm not sure he ever has, so if you have a capo and play a lot of JP songs, you'll probably never use it.
