Why does my desktop show 2 Macintosh HD's?
One of them has a little arrow in the left hand corner. Does this mean everything is double on my computer? My startup disk keeps saying it is full, too, even after I deleted a ton of applications I never use.

The little arrow means it's an alias. Just delete the one with the arrow. As for the disk space, not sure. Try running basic maintenance.

If that doesn't work, run basic troubleshooting.
