    PROBLEM 3.

    Single recipe = 6 and 5/7 cups

To convert this complex number into a fraction, first multiply the denominator (7) by the whole number (6), add the numerator (5), then place the result over the denominator.

    So that gives us ((7 * 6) + 5)/7 = 47/7 cups

    Double recipe = 47/7 cups * 2 = ?

    You finish this.

Oil in truck = 4 and 1/3 cans

    Convert this complex number into a single fraction = ((3 * 4) + 1)/3 = 13/3 cans

    Convert this complex number into a single fraction = ((4 * 5) + 1)/ = 21/4 ounces

    Oil ounces in truck = (13/3)(21/4) = ?
