alegbra math problem?

(15/7a)(14/3b)=

2(3r+4)=5(-2r-8)=

2(3r+1)+6=5(-2r-8)=

Comments

  • 1. Just multiply across and reduce.

    (15/7a)(14/3b) = 210/21ab = 10ab

    2. Distribute the numbers outside of the parentheses.

    2(3r+4)=5(-2r-8)

    (2*3r)+(2*4) = (5*-2r)-(5*8)

    6r+8=-10r-40

    16r = -48

    r = -3

    3. Same thing as #2.

    2(3r+1)+6=5(-2r-8)

    (2*3r)+(2*1)+6 = (5*-2r)-(5*8)

    6r+2+6 = -10r - 40

    6r+8=-10r-40

    16r = -48

    r = -3
