1. Write as a single log
4lnx - 3ln(x+1) + 2ln(x+4)
If you could show me how to do it and not just give the answer that would be great, thanks!
lnx^4 -ln(x+1)^3 +ln(x+4)^2= ln x^4(x+4)^2/(x+1)^3
4ln(x) - 3ln(x + 1) + 2ln(x + 4)
= ln(x⁴) - ln[(x + 1)³] + ln[(x + 4)²]
= ln[x⁴(x + 4)²/(x + 1)³]
Comments
lnx^4 -ln(x+1)^3 +ln(x+4)^2= ln x^4(x+4)^2/(x+1)^3
4ln(x) - 3ln(x + 1) + 2ln(x + 4)
= ln(x⁴) - ln[(x + 1)³] + ln[(x + 4)²]
= ln[x⁴(x + 4)²/(x + 1)³]
