  • Can you give an example of a sentence you can do and a sentence you can't do? Maybe then we can give some tips on the problem area. There's different ways to stretch out a sentence, just like in English. You might say first, second, then, next, after that, because, etc. Or you might be very descriptive in detail by naming many features or things you did.

    Naming many things example:

doubutsuen ni wa donna doubutsu arimasu ka? (what kind of animals are in the zoo?)

doubutsuen ni wa rakuda to ka kirin arushi, saru mo, tori mo, ironna doubutsu arimasu. (In the zoo there are camels and giraffes, even monkeys, even birds, and many kinds of animals.)

    Doing various things example:

Kyou wa nani wo shimashita ka? (what did you do today?)

mazu saishou wa okimashita ne, soshite ofurou abite, tsugi asagohan tabete, gakkou ni itte, kurabu de takyuu yatte, jyuku de benkyou shite, de saigo ni chotto tabete kara kaerimashita. (Well first I woke up, then I bathed, next I ate breakfast, went to school, played table tennis at the school club, studied at the cram school, and finally ate a little then came home.)
