Dresses As Cover Ups?
I'm planning on going to the beach this summer, going to friends pools, and going away. I want a cute coverup that i can use to either get to the beach or walk around it. I was looking at some, and they all seem to be semi-sheer, and I want to be able to wear it just as a dress too. If I got a regular dress and used it as a cover up, would the colors run or change because of the chlorine? Thanks for your help!

I am doing the same thing. I found a very cute dress at old navy and have used it a couple times already. I am not positively sure about this because it may differ from fabric to fabric, but I have not had any problems with the color running.

It absolutely depends on the quality and fabric used for the cover-up. I own the two Victoria's Secret dresses linked below and neither has faded after wearing over a swimsuit or alone as a dress.
