Ideas for a pre-natal photoshoot?
I'm having a pre-natal photoshoot done tonight.
I am looking for themes, outfits, ideas, poses, makeup...anything really. I just want to have a few ideas and a bit of inspiration when it starts.
Thoughts, ideas, photos, etc would be great
Extra Info that might help:
I live in New Brunswick, Canada.
I'm a bit of a scene/punk/rocker type girl, but I'm easily adaptable and like everything.
My boyfriend is a musician & will be in some of the pictures, but not all.
I have dark brown hair, green eyes, 5'6", pale complected, some freckles.
I'm having a girl. Due in August.
I've done some ammature modeling in the past but it's been a while considering I'm pregnant and I've never modeled while pregnant before.

Will they be in studio or on location? If these will be shot in a studio, I suggest dark backdrops. Do some with your bare belly and your partner holding on to it. Have you seen the henna tattoos? They can do really neat designs on your belly and get some great shots with those. I did a shoot with a girl and her husband. They bought these tiny pair of vans slip ons, pink and white checkered. I had her sit them on her belly and got a great shot that way.
If these will be location shots, I suggest graffiti, old buildings, alley ways things in that sort.
These are photos you will cherish, if you have ideas let the photographer know! Good luck with your pregnancy and God bless!
Yes you can get the OTC but they are not the same as a multivitamin, far from it. Prenatal vitamins have a lot more of the vitamins needed when preg. like folic acid, Iron, etc... The OTC's are good but the prescriptions are better!! The doctors I work with prescribe Tandem OB more than anything. They are not big horse pills like most of them out there, they are capsules. Good Luck with everything and I think it is great you are starting the vitamins early, many people do not.
Just don't let them put a bow on your belly.

If I were doing it, I would have you knitting a pink baby bootie with a skull and bones on it. Holding it with the knitting needles in front of your nude belly with the yarn spread all around. If you could, make the setting an alley or hallway at night, or sitting in a rocking chair on rail road tracks.
An alternative to the knitting would be adding a pair of baby booties pined to your belly with a big safety pin in the middle of a heart tattoo - post processing.
