because they promote being fake, depressed for the sake of being depressed, conformist crap that people should be ashamed of listening to. emo sucks because it makes people think they are rebelious when they are blind sheep following the rest of the flock.
It may seem very stereotypical and unfair, but hate towards the horrible living being nicknamed “Emo” is right. Why? Asides from Emo peoples many faults such as their whiny music, hair which blinds them, clothing which does no good in the sun and clothing so tight it sickens most. But the worst offender of the Emo’s is distinct in its own right. All the other statements about them may have been a little harsh, opinionated and unfair, but when you this you will not only agree: but you’ll feel the hate of me and thousands.
We all know the Emo trend is a self-pitying lifestyle which is popular today. Emo’s wish they would just die because their life is so terrible. But do they end their miserable life? No, they don’t. All they do is make music which spreads the self hate around the globe.
This leads me to the fact that millions are in poverty with their hopes up everyday even though they continue to live a lifestyle which contains starvation, poor hygiene and unhappiness. But you see, their unhappiness is understandable. These poor homeless children wish they could live a life like you and me, but they probably won’t ever. The point is, why should a child deserve to live in a world of poor conditions when there’s a Emo idiot who wants to die, and doesn’t realize he’s got it lucky. The fact is that the poor child should be living that life, rather than someone who does not enjoy it or fulfill it.
Emo's suck because they promote self-mutilation. I like bands like The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Hawthorne Heights, and I'm a little older so when I first heard them I didn't know they were "emo", I didn't even know what that was. I think it's good music, kids are just interpreting it wrong.
But one reason i disagree with emo is becuase they say they're like original and stuff when they are going out of their way to fit under the emo/scene/hardcore stereotype.
Well what does this make me then because i wear emo like clothes and listen to emo like music (well there isnt a genre of music i dont like) but i am extremely happy and living a perfectly fulfilling life. sombody please tell me cause i would love to know.
