Yes you can most of the time. You will have to research which processor you can put in and determine the max TDP that your laptop can handle. You will have to take into consideration power consumption and heat. It's not as easy as doing it on a desktop but it is by no means hard. I've done it many times.
As long as you get a replacement that is in the same socket as the original and is within the same power consumption and TDP zone, you should be fine.

Sadly the only CPUs that your laptop might support are I3s, the best one being the I3-2350m.
Thats hardly an upgrade and not worth the money. Laptop CPUs usually cost a large fraction of what an average laptop costs.
What you can do is call samsung or email them asking if their are any other CPUs the motherboard supports. Make sure you use the exact model number I gave you. Hopefully their support is worth your time.
My suggestion for you is to get a new laptop. It will be the easiest thing to do and is worth the money.
@Fighter. I have yet to come across a laptop that won't let you upgrade the CPU. The hard part about upgrading laptop CPUs is the motherboard only supports what the manufacturer wants it to support (which can be a very very small list).
@Spac3nerd. Thank you. I'm tired of seeing people who keep saying the CPUs are soldered on. As we know they are in sockets just like desktops. But SoC are soldered on. Have yet to see a SoC in a laptop.
