How do I connect a dial up modem to my new laptop ?

i can't get broadband.

I have this new laptop, but I don't think it has a dial up modem as it says 'device missing'.

I have a dial up modem, but how do i connect it to the computer ?

Any help would be great. I am on aol and using my other comp at minute.

Update:

just to add. It has a thing where you put the wire from lappy to wall, but i believe that is for broadband.
