How do you simplify sin pi/12 x cos pi/12?
I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to use the double-angle formula: sin2A=2sinAcosA.
I know the answer is 1/4... I just don't know how to get it.
Help on how to get started would be appreciated.
Update:btw **** u daniel w. I'm asking for help. not for you to do my ******* homework. i can see you wrote that on like 20 other math questions people had. How much time did that take you? Was it really worth it?

Do your own homework. I just copied the sentence and pasted it onto every math question. LOL It only took about five minutes.
the main challenge is, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, that ?/12 = 15º, not 30º. you would be wanting to handle this via the means help formulation: sin²(?) = (a million/2)(a million - cos(2?)) cos²(?) = (a million/2)(a million + cos(2?)) That 2? will shelter your not having a effective variety for the sine and cosine of ?/12 or 15º.
