Is a Corvette a good car for a adolescent driver?
ive been a die-hard corvette fan and love the new c6 design. ive read its pretty good in handling and performance. I been requesting my dad a Corvette and he will buy it to me when he can. from experienced or well informed drivers of the corvette, is it a good option for me to get one? I am careful and certified by a driving academy., i am responsible don't get me wrong. i do great at school and im not going to race the corvette ether. So don't stereotype me like a wreck less teenager ha ha. Thank you for those who answer.

You wouldn't know how to handle a car like that, kid. If your parents are well-off enough to afford it, and actually decide you're responsible enough to have one as your personal vehicle, well..may God have mercy on you all.
Insurance rates are sky high for Corvette drivers under 25 the lower the age the more it will cost.
no.insurance will be shy high if they will insure you,and frankly ya haven't got the experience yet to handle such a vehicle without killing yourself,or some one else.ive heard i wont race it,alot, and its a lie,the temptation will be there, and peer pressure will be there. thats irregardless of good student, bad student whatever, its life.before long your foot will be in it.certified driving academies are ok,but they cant give you experience.start off a tad less powerful, like a camaro,it will be more practical also as it has room for 4,insurance will be more palataple and if you get the v6 version.gas will be more affordable
yea why not!! maybe they'll see how much you care for the corvette and they might feel the same as you do and take care of that car
