How do I activate system volume?
On my PC task-bar, like most others, there are some icons, that have to do with system notifications.
The system icons (default) are Clock, Volume, Network, Power, and Action Center (the place where they can be turned on or off is in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Notification Area Icons\System Icons), and "Volume" is turned off, and faded out, so I can not turn it on.
I want it to appear on my task-bar so I can use it. I tried changing the default device, didn't work. I tried to go into sound, it opened, but whatever I did, was not helping.
A detailed answer is not required but would be appreciated.

It maybe that the drivers for the sound are not installed?
Some pc's have software installed to show the volume icon, check with the pc manufacturers site to see if you need to download it.
