Albino zebra cichlid..?
I saw an albino zebra cichlid at petco and freakin loved the thing. My mom will only let me get a 20 gallon. So, I'm getting a twenty long. Can I keep one of these little guys in there? More than one? Thanks!
P.S. I'm okay with just having one, but if they HAVE to be in groups like tetras or they'll die, I'll think of something else. Thanks!

They won't die if you don't keep them in groups, but 20 gallons is rather small for even one zebra cichlid (Metriaclima zebra).
I'm sure it's been done before, though.
Um if you want an all out brawl, I'm not against mixing Africans with Americans but if your gonna have the space to do so.Zebras are extremely aggression, perhaps even more so than your convicts, and convicts are prolific breedings and are extremely aggressive when guarding a nest and they are always guarding a nest.If you wanted a few fish than convict is a bad beginner,it does not appreciate anythings company. My advice is to perhaps trade the convicts in and create a whole mbuna tank.Mbuna prefer a fully to overstocked tank and will do very well with zebras as zebras are mbuna also.
You have more then enough room with a 20 gallon tank. But here are some suggestions first.
Before u get a fish u really really want and dont wanan die here are 2 options
1) Get normal fish like gold fish to help your tank cycle first so your tank can grow good bacteria it needs
2)or u can buy fish water from your local aquarium
All tanks have to cycle. Also Make sure u do not use TAP WATER unless u have AQUA Safe to help take out the clorine and other harmful chemicles in tap water.
Other then that u can normally have 1 inch of fish per gallon. so u can have a total of 20 inches of fish in ur tank. just make sure u have a proper filtration system.
Beautiful fish but your tank is to small. He might be able to live by himself but this would be a bit boring.
Why not get some small shell dwellers or apistogramma. They are small, look beautiful and are dwarf cichlids.
Here is a list of Apistogramma:

If it won't work with a 20 gal and you want it really bad, then return your tank and get a suitable-sized tank
They will be fine in or not in groups.
Yes, you can keep one.
