Algebra 2 problem help?

I need to find the x-intercepts and y-intercept of this polynomial equation. I know to set Y=0 and then X=0, but am having problems with the x-intercepts. What do I do after I subtract 96 to the equation's other side?? Please help, I'm having so much trouble! Thank you

Y= 7x^5 + 10x^3 + 19x + 96

  •   y = 7x^5 + 10x^3 + 19x + 96

    The x_intercept is when:

       0 = 7x^5 + 10x^3 + 19x + 96

        - 96 = 7x^5 + 10x^3 + 19x ... so clearly "x" must be negative

    This equation does not factor:

    ... the only real (computer) solution is approximately: -1.41988
