DMV Texas affidavit?
So I live with my boyfriend and have my proof of identity social etc but our bills are in his name. I'm bringing him with me to the DMV to bring two separate bills and sign off that it is also my residency but recently we moved. His ID has our old address on it. Are they still going to accept it as valid? It has his name birth date and photo ID and the bills are in his name but again the address on his ID does not match our current address (the address we will be signing off for on proof of residency with the bills) unfortunately, he has a traffic warrant and we are going on vacation soon so I NEED this ID. I understand this is something we need to take care of but we've already spent so much money on this trip. Btw his state ID is valid. We are using his ID not drivers license?

While you are there anyway, why don't you start by getting him a state ID with the new address, and then do yours next.
You should be asking the DMV. These things aren't supposed to be great mysteries.
