My friend says she uses contact lenses that she sleeps with and then takes them out and the she can so for like 24 hours. What type of contacts are these?
I read something about these kind of lenses if this is what you're thinking of: You sleep in them during at night, and during the day, you have good vision without the contact lenses in.
I'm not sure what they are called though, sorry.
Also, I think the yearly cost is more than the cost of laser treatment. Anyway, ask your opticians as it's quite new.
Several contact lenses are approved for overnight wear. The Acuvue is approved for over night wear but only for a week then it must be thrown out, both the B&L PureVision and the Ciba Night & Day's approved for overnight wear for up to 30 days then it must thrown out also. There are others but that's the short answer and the usual suspects. I'm an Optometrist for 15 years.
