Klipsch Thx Ultra 2 System or KEF R900 System?
I'm going to ugrade from a basic 5.1 system soon and I'm looking between these two systems for a major upgrade. I'm considering the cost difference and the benefits of each system from a sound perspective.

Personally I would probably go for the KEF system...if you had a rather large room and you like to listen loud them Klipsch may be better for you...The Klipsch THX system is rather old school with newer 7.1 system they recommend direct radiating speakers.... Years also many theaters were set up by THX professionals for sound but it was mostly because no one knew how to do it then and they needed outside help; so the home units were set up to mimic the sound of those theaters...today many theaters set up there own systems and the manager will be taught by corporate how to maintain adjust and tweak the system....also KEF speakers are some of the most underrated speakers on the market; so often you can get tremendious discounts on top quality speakers simply because no one was willing to pay the high price....so if you get a really good discount you can get some really hi quality speakers for very reasonable prices....from KEF....
