How to do a family tree if I'm adopted?
I ask my teacher if I can do my adopted family. She said no it must be biological family. I told my teacher I'm adopted. She said too bad I'm going to give you a fail mark.
My life sucks. I'm a girl

Tell your teacher that that's discrimination against adopted children. If she refuses go to the school board. Fight it.
I had to do a family tree project for a addictions class I took at a community college, and there are ways to show adopted children. Looked it up and it is a solid line and a parallel broken line with a circle since you are female.Google "Genograms".
She told you it must be a biological family or she will give you a failing grade. So you play " the game", and do what she wants you to do. Make it on another family or your adopted family up to your parents. Sweetheart, we need to play "the game" and suck it up alot of times in life- school, on the job, etc.
She has a department head, and she also answers to the principal so I would write a letter of complaint to both. Saying the teacher is insensitive to students that do not come from a "traditional" family. (The teacher is a mental midget. )
Adopted is just as valid as biological and here is why. Influence is not just about genetics it is about the people you live with as well. Everyone living today has been influenced by people they never met but lived thousands of years ago. Culture and everything someone does in their life is passed on to the next generation one way or another, by decisions that are made, examples given, and that generation passes it on to the next. When you are adopted you are just as influenced by those things as if you were biological. Your teacher is an idiot and I want you to complain to the principal, if that does not work go to the school board. You should not be receiving a failing grade just because you are adopted. I hope your parents complain to the school as well.
You do not say how historical your son is. If he is in grade tuition, then I feel the looking to do the adopted household maybe too difficult. If in case you have quite a few competencies about your adopted family AND your child is aware of that you simply were adopted, then i would let your child make the choice. It possibly a satisfactory finding out experience for him about bloodlines.
