Is a Mercedes ML 350 a good car?

I'm considering buying a used one with 35K miles for 23K.

  • It's fine. Don't pay attention to "experts" quoting web sites and magazines.

  • The M class has been slated as chronically unreliable and of shoddy construction by New Zealand's Dog and Lemon Guide. However the ML is supposed to be better than the M. Would not be hard, if the M was as bad as they say. Basically if I wanted such a vehicle I'd buy a Toyota or perhaps Nissan. Do not buy a Land-Rover Freelander, they have an appalling reputation.

  • Not sure what you mean by "good" but if it's about reliablity, Mercedes are not terribly reliable cars. Therefore, before you buy, you should have the car thoroughly checked over by a mechanic. Then expect higher-than-average repair costs and time in the shop after you've bought it.

  • Yes, ML 350 very good.

And you can buy a ML 350 on online government car auction.

where you can buy a ML 350 90% off Retail Value.

  • problem is reliability plus the cost of parts. Buy it if you really want a Mercedes because the thought of having one fulfils your life and gives you a confidence you wouldn't have without it.

But a Lexus RX is a much better choice, or acura MDX.

  • The consumer reports buying guide book from 2007 reports that it is "much worse than average". Actually almost all mercedes cars report that.

  • YES, It has more power than the previous ML 320 and it will last longer than most cars

  • Yes, the ML350 is MUCH improved over the ML320, and has a better interior.

    Have it CHECKED OUT FIRST!!
