A Mimic Poem topic assignment?
There is a poem called O what is that sound and I have to write these things like it does in that poem:
Poem has to have 9 stanzas, the beginning of each stanza has to start with an O, lines 2 and 4 and 1 and 3 have to rhyme, the first and second line is a question and the third and fourth are the answer. *I just really need a topic that would be easy to write* Thanks so much!

Write some notes about the elements of the poem. For example, if the poem is written in trochaic hexameter and uses alliteration, etc., record those aspects in your notes. When you write your own poem, it should be unique and creative in addition to being modeled after the published work. You will not likely be able to mimic every element of the original poet's style, but these notes will help you choose a few to mimic in your own poem.
