Do you ever receive constructive criticism from work?
Longstory short, I work at a drug store/pharmacy. Been there for maybe 5 months? Every night we face the store which means pulling the product to the front as if nobody shopped there. You know what i mean. Well tonight i was closing with a new manager and i finished facing a good chunk of the store and somehow she was able to find a flaw in my facing and she told me the right way to do it as if i was brand new employee. I felt a little belittled thinking i did a good job only to be told there was stufff that wasnt touched. I just felt like i failed her. Have any of you ever been in situation at work where you feel like you did a good job and then BAM, the boss finds something wrong. Does this happen often in the work world? I won t get fired for this will i?

This happens sometimes, it may never happen again. Don't let it bother you- it was meant to help you & you won't get fired unless you continue to do it wrong. You actually should have thanked her for telling you that. Good luck!!
Won't get fired unles you do it regularly. If it wasn't done right, it's her job to tell you.
I give constructive criticism all the time to my employees. Even ones that have worked for me for years. It is the nature of employment. The ones who take it as a personal insult will not last with me or with anyone else for that matter.
The comments are not against you - they are a way to help you improve in your position. Next time you do facing, make sure that you do it the way the manager told you to do it. If you have questions, ask. It seems like this is a person who may be willing to answer.
