What is a good upgrade camera for nature documentaries?

For the past year I have been doing videography as a hobby with a Canon t2i. I would like to get more serious and I am looking to upgrade to a better camera. I want something that can give me a very sharp image and can also do slow motion, something good for nature docs. I can t afford a real cinema camera so I am wanting to stick with a DSLR or prosumer camcorder. Any recommendations?

    Nikkon. If you can't afford expensive DSLRs. Use what you have, your phone. Start from there. Download camera apps that can manually set ISOs, Shutter speeds, etc..

    i personally like using Canon cameras for recording. It depends if its active but if your just recording I'd use a canon its also good for vlogging.

    Since you already have a Canon, get the much newer and better T6i so that you can use the lens you already have.
