trouble dating as a FTM Transsexual?

I'm a very attractive FTM Transsexual. Since transition I have noticed I have been finding it difficult to know how to go about dating?. I'm a heterosexual guy, I like Women. Is there any other Trns guys out there who can give me some suggestions of how to go about dating women. IU have not tried stealth dating yet at all. I guess since I know there will be lots of rejection!. I'm not sure how I would handle that. Should I just get out there and try dationg straight women, and just disclose to them after a few dates, gettin to know them etc?. Can anyone help me out, I feel kind of pathetic posting this, but it's been about 5 years since Transition, I'm a very attractive man..I just feel alone when it comes to dating. Everythin else in life is great

  • have you considered dating transwomen

I generally stick to other transpeople myself, to avoid a lot of hassles

  • I'm a transsexual male myself and if you haven't tried dating yet then how do you know you will be rejected? If you say you are good looking then honestly i don't see why a lot of women would care about your genitals or your being transsexual.

A lot of women really don't care about penises anyway. 70% of women can't orgasm through penetration and need clitoral stimulation, that goes to show how irrelevant penises really are when it comes to pleasing a woman.

I'm not saying it will be easy dating and you probably may experience some rejection from women, but overall i find women are a lot more understanding and open minded about these things. I think you are probably making this a bigger deal then it needs to be. If a woman is attracted to you and likes you as a person then your being transsexual shouldn't be a problem.

From my personal experiences i've tended to date either bisexual women or pansexual women. I've had straight women interested in me as well, but normally i prefer dating open minded women because i find heterosexuals in general to be rather limited.

Also keep in mind that everyone is an individual and the vast majority of people out there have no idea what they're looking for in a partner. I've been around women who told me they had a specific type and then they have ended up being with a man who was completely different to what they thought they wanted.

Edit: I just wanted to say that although i've been single for two years now, the last girlfriend i had was beautiful, in fact she was accepted to be a model for an agency and my previous girlfriend before that was also quite pretty. Looks aren't very important to me but i just wanted to say that just because you're transsexual doesn't mean you should settle for someone you aren't attracted to. There are plenty of transmen who have nice looking women.

  • have you tried online dating sites? most often depending on the site you can filter exactly what you are looking for.

otherwise i would try various local nightclubs. i noticed someone mentioned trying to date other transgendered people. i think that would be a great step if you are willing to go that route. it would get you comfortable dating and would have less chance of rejection.
