Why do people use Japanese phrases in a English sentence/paragraph?
Its really weird, why the hell would you mix Japanese with English?
I also see a lot of people saying Arigatou (and other phrases), using honorifics etc. Are you trying to copy anime or something? Because this is definitely not helping you learn Japanese. Find a private Teacher if you want to learn.
If not then Reality check, your main language is English so speak it, unless you speak Japanese.
I'm not mad I'm just annoyed at a lot of people doing that.

Think of the reverse. A hella lot of Japanese people use English phrases in *their* sentences and paragraphs. Seriously, have you heard the amount of J-pop and rock songs that have English words or phrases in them? Sometimes I'm like "what did they just say?" but I guess it would be considered "Engrish."
And "Arigatou?" People can say it. Haven't you heard the "Domo Arigato Mr Roboto" song by the Styx? What language do you think they were saying. It's been happening for years. You probably just noticed it since you're more aware.
If teeny boppers are going around saying "kawaii" and "sugoi" every second word then that would annoy me too.
Lol... And Japanese don't use English in their language...? Even if the pronunciation is so off that we English speakers don't know exactly what they said... because they chop up the words... fuamiresu for family restaurant... pasokon for personal computer... shokku for shock... and so many others I can make a huge list for you....
And it's not just Japanese... In India, people mix their languages with a lot of English words in them... and many of us speak both English and Hindi fluently and some of them don't speak English properly at all...
If they can spell right and pronounce it right... they can use whatever words they want....
i use japanese, greek, korean, finnish words in my everyday "dictionary".
But that doesn't mean i wanna act like something.. I just find some foreign words really "catchy"
They're weeaboos, what can you do about it?
