Do journalists travel?
I want to know how often they travel either short or long distance and how much money do they make per year? I want to work at a teenage magazine for girls (Like the magazine DOLLY or GIRLFRIEND) And also does it matter where you work or do you have to be located at a specific location to work at a specific magazine ? Please help, thanks. xo

I know many people my age dream of being a travel journalist, and I know many of them may be better writers than I
Most don't travel beyond driving range. At our newspaper, only a few reporters actually fly on a plane for a story for any reason.
Money? Depends. The TV anchors can make seven figures. Most reporters are in the $30K to $90K, depending on location, experience, talent, etc.
Most jobs at a magazine are at the magazine's location. Freelancers are rare, and they get paid by the article (in other words, they don't earn much money).
It depends on what you're writing about, who you're writing for, etc. A war journalist will be constantly traveling overseas, whereas a writer for a teen magazine will likely be fairly stationary. There may be some traveling depending on what your story is about, but writing about confidence and style can be done from your desk.
