No credit check as a server?
How does the whole "your job is your credit" work when you're a server and work for tips? Because I know they ask for a paycheck and as a server in Texas we only earn $2.13 an hour on paycheck.

Places that advertise "your job is your credit" tend to be rent to own places or payday loan -- neither is such a good idea.
But any creditor who requires proof of your income may just ask for copies of your income tax return. That return should reflect your tips as you are suppose to claim tips as income on your tax return.
Well, don't you file tax returns? You are supposed to. LOL
This is the problem people have when they want to borrow money but don't report all of their income because they want to avoid paying tax. They cannot get loans.
You need proof of what you make and if your check only shows the $2.13 an hour and not the tips you make all week, you won't qualify based on how low that income is.
Now, if you have a tax return showing how much you made.. that's a different story.
Since you are required to report 100% of your tips to your employer, they will be shown on your paycheck in addition to the $2.13/hour.
