  • Screen size inches are irrelevant. What matters is screen size in pixels. A fully compatible 1080P wide screen TV would be 1920 pixels wide and 1080 pixels deep. I would not worry too much as long as the TV is HD compatible but more pixels means better quality in terms of clarity - like of small writing or distant faces. Probably more important for games is the screen response time where faster response means less blur of moving objects.

  • If you are looking for something that is 1080p in that size you'd have to consider a monitor. It won't have a built in tuner, so it wouldn't be considered a high definition television. Sharp has a 32" that handles 1080p but you're looking at close to $900.

You'll be able to play your PS3 on any television new, or old. It'd be recommended to be used on a television that handles 1080p because the blu-ray player will output 1080p resolution. It'll match up line for line, and give you extra crispness. You will get the best quality out of an HDMI cable, and if that's not an option, your next best bet is a component video cable. Good luck.

  • YOU MUST have a 1080P TV set for it to process 1080P signals using the HDMI input.....

Any other type of TV will allow you to send the signal using 720P or 1080i to the TV set....

SO.....Look for a TV set that has the 1080P sticker on the front of it....

Your 19 inch would have had that sticker on it when you bought it......

And 1080P TV sets appeared last Christmas.....

How old is your 19 inch TV set???

  • Just because your buying a hd tv doesn't mean you will get full 1080p ,read the small print for that tv and see what it gives you. could be full 1080 and 720 p is almost the same.

  • it doesnt really matter the inches...its the resolution it can display

if its labled as hdmi then yes it will have 1080

  • the screen can be any size you like (or can afford!!), its the resolution that counts! it should say on the telly or a leaflet tat comes with it!
