physics pulley problem, distance traveled?

The 100 kg anchor for a ship is raised and lowered using a winch and pully as shown. The winch drum (a solid cylinder) is .5 m in diameter and has a mass of 50 kg. If the water pushes up with a resistive force of 380 N, how long does it take the anchor to reach the bottom in 36 m of water. Please show work and formulas used.

  • i won't be able to make certain the diagram you're utilising, yet you're given a time, preliminary speed, and you got here across the acceleration. d = vo * t + 0.5*a*t^2 : d = 0.5*a*t^2 d = 0.5*a million.633m/s^2 * (0.875s)^2 d = 0.714 m
