How do I scan a photo onto my computer?
When I put the picture onto the scanner and press 'start scan', the screen on the scanner says 'Scanning error. Cannot connect to PC.' What's the problem, and how do I fix it?

You have to connect the scanner with an appropriate cable (USB probably) to the PC. You also have to install the drivers of the scanner either by downloading them for internet or by using the CD that came with the scanner. I hope this helps.
scanning error means that defintly there is some problem on driver.first unplug scanner from man power source and dc the cable of scanner from pc,then uninstall its driver.when it completes again install fresh copy of driver and try again.
THE PROBLEM IS THE POWER CABLE
THAT IS, THE CABLE WHICH IS USED TO CONNECT IT TO POWER SOURCE.
MORE SO, IF IT MAKES SOME NOISE AND THEREAFTER STOPPED WITHOUT SCANNING, THEN CHECK
1. TWAIN CABLE (THE CABLE THAT POWERED COPY LAMP)
2. CHECK THE COPY LAMP IF IT SCANNED AND THE IMAGE IS BLACK THROUGHOUT.
