Does this quote make sense?
This quote is about nerds:
We have the disadvantage of being overly analytical, lacking ethical sense - we're abnormally awkward and bolster(is that a fitting verb?) boredom, a bizarre species that can be quite ominous and haunting. But we have a virtuous advantage of consuming witty humor in the interior of our "ever-increasing" grey matter. We have the tendency to live a thousand more lives than others by just turning the page, and we "are too enthusiastic about the miracle of human consciousness." The excerpt seems from Francis Bacon's essay "of studeis" or it can be from someone else's.
It is just hypothesis or a prediction. The people who read a lot or people that are mostly absorbed into reading literature have their own priorities. They can be seen socially less-advanced and dull at times too. But they are remain happy in their own cobweb of reading and building castes in the air that are shortlived for the world but the reader always builds them in their mind happily. The pleasure of reading is superior to them.
I'd replace bolster and consuming with better verbs...other than that it made sense to me
i think so
