How do you separate a pure substance from a raw material?

    it depends on what you are talking about but heat is almost universal in doing just that.

    Well you could find out the temperature at which the pure substance turns into a gas, then would heat up the raw material to that temperature where you then collect the gas. Boom you got your substance. By the way please research things before you ask a question here.
