  • Chinchilla is a coat color.

Gray swirled with black and white. It sort of looks like a storm cloud. I find it beautiful.

This first link is a good judge of silver chinchilla, however, that is a BADLY bred cat and shouldn't be considered "breed standard".

I guess they come in gold as well as silver, but I'm having trouble finding those.

    These are both golden chinchillas

    BEAUTIFUL!

"Exotic" persians have short, plush fur and "mushed faces".

"Doll face" persians have a prominent nose. They don't have the "mushed face".

(they say they're also chinchilla, but they're VERY light, above is a better look for "chinchilla")

Regular persians have the "mushed faces".

So, that's a persian education in a nut shell.

The Cat Fancy Association (see link above) has plenty more to say about them. They make great companions for people who want to put a lot of time into those magnificent coats. They're mellow and charming.

    Cheers.

  • If you search on the cat name you may find a breeder site that explains what you ask. I have had Persians before and love their placid personalities and beautiful coats. I had a shaded silver and her nose was more like a normal cat. I like the golden Persians for the same reason. I'm not particularly fond of the pushed in faces that are the current fashion. Don't choose a cat just by its looks. Personalities can vary within the breed, so try to spend some time with the cat you choose before you bring it home. That way you can find out what kind of personality it has and whether it likes you or not.

Sometimes a cat will be described by a certain name that is not the standard name for that type of cat. It isn't a registered breed type. However, if you're just looking for a pet and it won't be registered, anything goes.

Are you prepared for the level of grooming these cats require?

  • i'm no longer for or hostile to Iran. in spite of the undeniable fact that, attempting to examine it from their perspective, i trust Iran is depending that thanks to stay away from yet another coup d'etat. In 1953 Iran replaced into invaded with the help of Britain and the U.S. who staged a coup d'etat and took over Iran. the clarification behind it truly is Iran has many oil fields and get good of entry to to the organic fuels which exist in the Caspian Sea. Then there replaced right into a revolution and Iran kicked out Britain and the U.S. And has been a Republic ever considering the fact that. Its equivalent to the clarification why the Russian went from an Empire to a communist state.
