Is a school transcript a trade secret?
It is a question for my take-home exam. I would say no because it is known outside of the business (school) when we hand it to anyone who looks to hire us and we don't make them sign anything... and other criteria don't fit either... just checking.

No. In the U.S., school transcripts are protected under FERPA, but they're not "trade secrets."
