  • Usually the sound is from fluid releasing from the joint.

Found this site that gives others reasons...says if you have pain to seek medical attention.

  • I'm going to disagree with everyone else here... clicking your bones isn't normal and of course being in pain that often is certainly a warning sign from your body, telling you that something is wrong.

The one question I wonder is whether you may be underweight. My niece had this problem with her hips, where you could actually hear the bones clicking together. She refused to eat properly for months until she couldn't take the pain anymore. Once she put on a few pounds, the pain and clicking vanished.

  • "Most of the time the snapping or popping sensation around joints is nothing to worry about. This is especially true if it occurs pretty equally on the right and left side of your body and has been there for a long time, without symptoms. This is usually due to a tendon snapping across a bony prominence, resulting in a noise. It is fairly common around the shoulder, wrist, hip, and ankle."

  • You may have a curvature of your spine.Have some x-rays done. This could cause the body not to line up and make a few strange clicks.

  • there is a nitrogen build up in your joints so when you pop them it makes that clicking sound if it is hurting it can be a clue to the onset of arthritis

  • something wrong with your senovial liquid (liquid between two joint), consult your doctor. to relief the pain take pain killer like ponstan, voltaren gel....visit the link below (souds like arthritis)

  • Not sure go to Web MD and pose that question.

  • its normal but it wasn't supposed to be painful, actuall how painfule it is?? if iyd so painful, you should see your doctor.

  • i dont know but it feels good when your back clicks! hahahah

  • they mite be brocken
