does destiny really exist?
about a week ago i came across my first crush in highschool (we are both 20 now, we were 14 back then & he knew i liked him & i believe he liked me back)...i find it very odd since i thought i was never going to see him again....we saw each other at walmart and we made small talk (like 3min.), i think we were both playing it cool but deep inside we pretty much could tell we were nervous..& then we departed our own ways like nothing...we just said "bye"...does this mean anything at all?? seeing this guy i had so much strong feelings for once upon a time...seeing him in my present? i don't know if i'm making sense but yeahh..i just find it really like one in a million chance i was ever going to see HIM ever again...i had even forgotten about him, & then he came back last week...but now he's gone again...wonder if i'll come across him p.s. it has been almost 3 yrs since i last saw him last week..
Update:he has a gf

You have to invent it yourself and accept responsibility for whichever way things go.
when you think about how we are all just animals destiny truly means nothing, but when you think about religion destiny means a lot. If you believe in religion then you should really check into the whole destiny thing. If you don't then just think of it as being fortunate to meet him again.
I'm a Christian so I believe in destiny but I really don't like it or depend on it because I would rather be in control of my own life, but I've had a few big ''is this destiny moments''
at the end of the day weither or not you go after the dude is up to you, after all it's not like your a puppet or anything like that your in control of your own life!
You have control over your destiny. Just because God knows the future doesn't mean you don't have free will. Divine Omniscience and human free will can co-exist. It's a concept you really have to contemplate in order to get a feel for how it is possible.
I have known one thing that if we wish for something hard enough and if it's meant to be, you will see him again. Don't lose hope! Who knows you might see him the next time you're shopping at Wal-Mart. But try making a long talk next time. And yes, be brave, make a move, and ask for his number casually to keep in touch.
It's nice to think so.
But there isn't really. The only thing 100% destined for living things is death, but when you think about it, that's what makes life so valuable.
Did you get his phone number or email at least?
>> he has a gf
... and that was the sound of the other shoe dropping. Game over, man... game over.
Yes it does. But you are an active part in it, so it is kind of bendy. I think you may have to take action rather than be destiny's flotsam. Si?
this is kind of creepy, you should stick to stalking ppl on facebook like normal crazy ppl
Yes it does,
and its Awe-
wait for it.
