How do you dress like a Peacock?

I'm thinking of being a peacock for a costume party, how should I go about it? I'd like suggestions on clothing, hair and make up. Please be specific. Also, it'd be great if you could tell me what stores I can get the stuff at.

Update:

I don't think im actually gunna go out and buy a peacock dress tho. I'm not that rich that I can buy a dress just for one party. Just things that I can make myself or throw together to get the look.

The dress is mostly purple/blue, hair done up with a jeweled comb at top! Now, & this is the best part, have Your tail feathers constructed like a fan... long triangular pieces of cardboard (at least three feet long!) fastened near the point, painted both sides with the traditional peacock feather design with thread connectors near the top to fan out evenly, supported by a simple clip You can attach to Your belt! Something You can take on or off as necessary!

Look at pictures of a Peacock, I think You may get a better idea!
