How do you record audio from a website?
I am trying to record audio from a website that will record it as clear as its played. I couldnt download the MP3 for the song i want to record because the PLS file contains no bytes every time i download it. Windows sound recorder seems to be useless and can only record by a mic. Any suggestions of a program i can use because i cannot find any programs.
Update:Can i get somthing without wires or plugins. I have the file now and its .pls and the data has been restored but when i play it using Power DVD the data gets removed. And Power DVD is the only program that will play it. I really want to convert this song since it is nowhere else in the world for an MP3 and is my favorite of all time. Why would a 46 second song be in playlist format?

Download and install Audacity ( http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ ), then install the LAME encoder ( http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=install... ), and create a new project in Audacity.
When you're creating this project, plug one end of a double-ended headphone cable into your sound output, and one end into your line in port, go to the website containing the music, start the recording
on Audacity, and start playing the music. Once the song's done, stop the recording. Export it to an MP3, and you're finished.
