  • If you have a name brand computer like a Dell for example, then you can look up your model and find specs on it, such as whether or not it has AGP or PCI-e (or if it doesn't have either at all.)

I would agree, you need to list informtion that you know about your computer so that someone can find the answer for you.

  • An AGP slot in chocolate colour

  • red colour is for AGP 8x slots and white colour is for PCI express(short one) Slots

NOTE: AGP Old slots 2x-4x are choclate or brown colour

  • Scroll to the bottom of this website and you'll see a picture with the two slots side by side.

  • go to your manufacturer website and see where it says graphics card or watever and see the slot type. or go to my computer than go to view system info on the left than go to hardware and click on device manager and wen u get the list look for your graphics card and right click and go to propertes choose best answer!

  • There is a little groove on both types of slots..

In the AGP, it will be towards one side..

on the PCIe it will be towards the center.

  • google your model # or post it here
