Universal Studios pass from Costco?

I bought a 12-month pass for Universal Studios and they gave me the paper, just a small paper. My friend told me that I would go to Universal Studios and they would give me my official pass. But I read online that I need to register the pass online? What do I do and do I need to bring anything to Universal Studios? Like my student I.D. card or anything? Thanks!

    your id plus the paper

    yes you could register online it just speed up the process at the park but you dont have to

    you could go do it at the park but it will take longer
