How do I deactivate and then remove a passenger side airbag from a Chevy Astro?
The dashboard grab bar broke and disconnected. I was able to put it back together, and it is indeed still sturdy; however, I cannot reattach it without going inside the dash under the area where it connects. This area is currently occupied by the airbag. Can anybody tell me how to do this?
Update:"Unhook the battery and wait 10 or 15 minutes. All residual power will be gone and the airbags will be inert"
I understand this part. The most difficult part is getting it out of the dashboard. Does anyone have any advice on that?
