Make sure the color of your mail page's text is not white or that of blank space of window,click 'Refresh' button,clear history,delete offline files from tem internet folder,clean your browser's cache,clear SSL slate,delete unnecessary cookies.
Make sure you have your internet connection ok and you are receiving your data packets with stability and as usual amount.
If you still can't see the writing in your mails, it's usually a scripting error. To fix this:
1. Click on Tools-Internet Options.
2. Click the "Security" tab.
3. Click the Internet (globe) icon and click the "Custom Level" button.
4. Scroll way down until you see "Scripting.
5. Enable the following:
a) Active scripting
b) Allow paste operations via script
c) Scripting of Java applets are all enabled.
6. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the window.
Restart Yahoo! Mail and you should start seeing text in your Yahoo!mail windows.
You may need to checkout whether your anti-viruses' auto- email scanner is filtering out all those your new incoming emails for improper settings.
You need to clearout your browsers cache again by a good cleaner as 'ccleaner' or 'Easy cleaner'
You may need to upgrade your RAM upto 512MB for windows xp sp2
