My sister is a compulsive liar...?
This is a completely serious question. I'm 20, my sister is 32. For the last 10 years, I've seen my normal, loving sister mentally fall apart. She had two kids, married and divorced, then married an abuser who was accused of molesting his sisters. And she had a little girl at the time. I've seen him abuse them, and child protective services get called. She has lupus so she's on a ton of narcotics... don't know if that has anything to do with it. She also was told she has bipolar, like me, but won't get treatment.
Her father committed suicide and she used to do drugs, and she sees her family and herself get abused 24/7.
Now she's saying she got her master's online and is a doctor... and that's in no way possible. She's doing illegal stuff for money AND saying she's a pastor of a church. She's saying she's friends with celebrities and CNN is following her.. that was her facebook status today. She's starting fake businesses and taking peoples money.
I'm literally not kidding. I'm starting to think she's really ill. Is there anything I can do? She'll stop talking to me, or anyone in the family, if we say anything.
She's also in denial, saying her husband is like a God and perfect... while he abuses her. What is wrong with her?

I am not a doctor but if what you're saying is true then your sister is mentally ill and she needs help. If she is seeing a psychiatrist already, talk to them yourself. It seems as though she is more than just bipolar, a little delusional even. Is there any chance she is just joking about this stuff or is she serious? Normally victims of abusive relationships don't feel that the abuser is doing anything wrong so that's not abnormal. I am more concerned with the delusions of grandiosity. I don't know where you live but in the state of Florida we have a 'baker act' where if we feel a person is a danger to themselves or others, we can force a hospitalization. I would look into what options you have.

She is VERY sick and also sounds slightly schizophrenic. she could also be very narcissistic which is also a mental disorder. you need to get a hold of a hospital ASAP. she could be a danger to herself or others.
