breast size diff from bra size?
hey ppl, if i measure my breast it comes 31 around (beneath beasts) and 36 aound the breasts......so the measurement is??
but i use 36c as that fits properly...... why isnt the breast measurement same as my bra size....????????

36C might fit you on the cups, but I bet it's too loose on the band. You will know the band is too big when it rides up at the back, you can pull it more than an inch away from your body or you need to do the bra up on the tightest hook.
If a 36C fits well on the cups, then I would try a 32DD or 34D on the first hook. This is basically the same cup volume as your 36C, just on a smaller band.

Your bra size is the band measurement plus 4 or 5" (whichever one you need to get a round number. That gives you a band size of 36.
The cup size is one letter for every inch of difference between the rib cage measurement, and the bust i.e. if your band measurement if 31 and your bust measurement is 33 that's a difference of 2 inches, so that's a B cup. (3 inches is a C cup, 4 is a D, etc).
According to your measurements, you should be a 36 DD or 36E. No idea why the standard sizes are this way.... someone must have invented this and everybody else followed suit.
