You can use a Mac to do all the basic things you do in a Windows notebook; watch movies (DVDs) listen to music, internet browsing and word processing. As you may already know, to watch DVDs you need a DVD drive, Macbook (including Pro version) have built-in drives but Macbook Air doesn’t.

All models can play DVD but only the ones with the Combo Drive can write them.
