Can purchased downloaded games be archived to a CD e.g. Diner Dash etc?
The reason I ask this, is that I do not like the idea of paying for games, having my computer crash and losing the games. Can I save them to disc and play them on my laptop for example. This is a genuine concern - I am not looking to make copies to sell.

yes, you can. when purchasing games like Dinner Dash, they are registered online, thus the purchased exe file is now yours for keeps. for other purchased games that require an unlock code right before purchasing them, just make sure you keep the registration key or unlock code along with the CD right after you purchase them.

you can save the demo version installs to disc, and record the registration info needed to unlock the full versions either in a file on your pc, or on paper. That would make it possible to recover from a crash next time.
you can back up the install and registration details to any removable media, but to run the game, it needs access to the main drive (c\...) and the registry
This works for genuine purchases, trial downloads and , ahem, patched games. just organise everything in a folder for each program

yes you can but i would recommend getting an external hard drive because its good for laptops because most will have a small amount of memory and they are easy to use and quite cheap you could get a 250gb 1 for about £80 and they get cheaper the lower amount of memory u get
