You do dream in a coma, its like having a deep sleep, and they happen everyday. If you know someone who is in a coma then you could try to say there name or somthing, this will affect there dreams to show that you are there. A coma is much deeper than sleep. There tends to be normal brain activity while comatose but they are simple , basic autonomic functions. I have never seen any documentation on dreams while in a coma. It has been described as simply an unconscious passage of time, like anesthesia. If you have ever been put under for a medical procedure, that simulates coma. No conscious awareness of pain, light or surroundings.
